As Sierra Leone has been rated 103rd in the Global Hunger Index, Be Rose International Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 2012, in Maryland having branches in Laurel, Nigeria and Sierra Leone has as its main aim the provision of humanitarian assistance, medical , financial support, psycho-social leadership training and scholarships for children, empowering widows in vulnerable communities.

On Monday 13th January 2020, the organization launched its school feeding project at the Kissy Community Ses-con Pre Primary School. Executive Director of the Foundation, Rosaline Bangura, said breakfast is the most essential meal of the day further lamenting how they discovered that most children go to school without having breakfast in the morning underscoring how such is affecting their performances in school.
