Rosaline Bangura has always believed that every child deserves a chance to be successful, that your current situation does not define who you are but your determination can make you achieve success in life.
An activist for women, children’s rights, and immigration reform, Ms. Bangura holds a bachelor’s degree in Business administration with a minor in marketing and a master’s degree in Public administration from Strayer University. She believes that empowering young girls and women is powerful. It is the key to economic growth, and social transformation, which is why she strives to make a difference – especially through motivation.
Rosaline is the former National women’s leader of the People’s movement for democratic change (PMDC), Vice President of All Political Parties’ Women Association (APPWA) in Sierra Leone, former Vice President of Tegloma, Atlanta, Georgia Branch, and former Chapter President of Tegloma Washington, D.C. The largest and oldest Sierra Leonean cultural organization in the DMV. She has also served as the social secretary for the Sierra Leone Association of Georgia. Ms. Bangura is a community builder with a true passion for making a difference in the lives of the people she serves.
Ms. Rosaline has a strong academic background in community development, project and nonprofit Management. She has worked with Local and international non-governmental and governmental bodies providing humanitarian and relief support to needy people in developed and under developing countries. Ms. Bangura has hosted several leadership, motivational, entrepreneur conferences, workshops and training for women, girls and youths. She has also worked with other nonprofit organizations to stop the separation of families through deportation. She is a motivational speaker who believes in making a difference in the world by giving the less privilege Hope.
